Mission
To help organizations recognize their identity, align their culture with their principles, and develop leaders and teams, drawing on their differences and strengths to build a shared purpose.
ACORDE is an organizational culture and development consultancy. We help organizations recognize their identity, align their culture with their actions, and develop teams able to work in harmony.
We don't come to create an organization's DNA; we come to discover what already exists, make it conscious, give it order, and put it into words.
In Spanish, acorde holds three complementary meanings: a musical chord, an agreement as the building of understanding, and acting in accord as an expression of congruence.
Agreement
Building understanding, sharing goals, and finding common ground, recognizing that we can agree or disagree without our differences keeping us from working toward a shared purpose.
Acting in accord
Making our decisions, behaviors, and actions congruent with the identity, values, and culture we declare as an organization.
Musical chord
Different notes that, combined, produce harmony, like an organization's members and departments, who contribute to a collective result from their different roles and abilities.
DNA defines who we are and the principles that guide how we work. Culture is how we live those principles in our decisions, relationships, and actions.
Center
Understand before acting
It's our starting point. We seek to understand who we are, what we believe, how we think, and why we do what we do. We listen to recognize other perspectives, without needing to agree with all of them.
Second circle
Align who we are with what we do
Understanding lets us see the distance between our identity, our intentions, and our behaviors. Congruence commits us to closing that gap and to living first what we promote.
Outer circle
Build together from our differences
Every person, team, and organization has its own identity, abilities, and perspectives. We seek for those differences to complement each other. Harmony is not the absence of conflict, but the ability to collaborate despite differences.
We understand in order to act with congruence and build in harmony.
Every person is part of wider systems they influence and are influenced by. Culture is built in both directions: from the inside out and the other way around. Every interaction can strengthen or weaken it.
Differences enrich us, understanding connects us, and congruence makes us stronger.
The difference is whether they're recognized and developed consciously and intentionally, or built by accident. Clarity on both goes far beyond having a written mission, vision, or values. It lets us:
Act on criteria congruent with our identity and purpose.
Close the gap between what we declare and what we actually do.
Understand what we are part of and what it means to belong to our organization.
Set clear expectations for leaders, teams, and collaborators.
Face the changes that come with growth and adapt without losing identity and purpose.
Identify which practices strengthen our culture and which need attention.
Recognize which abilities, behaviors, and forms of leadership we need to strengthen.
What matters is recognizing what we need to keep, what we should strengthen, and what we want to transform.
Our DNA runs through everything: we understand, pursue congruence, and seek harmony in every phase, even though each principle has a special affinity with one stage.
Understanding
Starting from the organization's history, identity, and current reality, we recognize and order the elements of its DNA and the culture already lived, whether or not a mission, vision, values, or philosophy were defined.
Congruence
We contrast that identity with the everyday way of working. We identify which practices strengthen the culture, which create gaps, and what needs adjusting so what the organization says it is matches how it really works.
Harmony
Second phase, when needed
We strengthen people, leaders, and teams so their differences and abilities contribute to shared results, and so they can live, sustain, and strengthen their culture.
At the end of the assessment, the organization will have a clearer view of who it is, how it is living its culture, and what it needs to align.
Shall we start by understanding your organization?
We review existing identity elements such as DNA, philosophy, mission, vision, and values. We complement this with interviews and surveys that capture collaborators' views on who they are, how they work, what they believe, and how they live their culture.
A qualitative exploration and development tool for leaders, teams, and departments. Through meaningful questions, active listening, and guided dialogue, it brings out different perspectives and explores gaps between what is declared and what is lived. It is not a staff evaluation and does not replace a structured assessment: it's not about finding who does things right or wrong, but understanding why we do what we do.
Training and leadership tools added in the development phase according to each organization's findings and goals, along with soft or hard skills courses as needed.

At ACORDE we believe that to transform, we first need to understand. We help organizations recognize their identity, align their culture with their actions, and develop teams able to work in harmony, drawing on their differences to reach a shared purpose.
To help organizations recognize their identity, align their culture with their principles, and develop leaders and teams, drawing on their differences and strengths to build a shared purpose.
To be an organization that lives and reflects its principles by helping build organizations aware of their identity, congruent in their actions, and able to turn differences into strengths, developing cultures of collaboration, belonging, and shared growth.
We believe every transformation begins with understanding, and that congruence demands we first live the principles we promote. Differences don't have to divide us: they can complement each other and become strengths to build a shared purpose in harmony.
Tell us who you are and what you're going through. We'll get back to you to talk about an assessment.
